Make Your Own Terracotta Warrior at a Terracotta Replica Factory (about 1 hour)

It takes about one hour to drive from downtown Xian to the Terracotta Army site. Before visiting the Terracotta Warrior Museum, you will stop at a nearby Terracotta Warrior replica workshop for about 1 hour. Here, you will learn how the ancient Terracotta Warriors were originally made. And you'll get a rare chance to follow a master craftsman to learn how to create your own small Terracotta Warrior model. Take your creation home as a unique souvenir!

Visit the Museum of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses (about 2 hours)

Over 8,000 life-sized clay soldiers, horses, and chariots placed in battle positions in Pit No. 1, 2, 3, and the Exhibition Hall of the Bronze Chariots. What will leave you in awe is not only its sheer size but also the intricate details in the sculpting. Each warrior is in a different position and has unique facial expressions.

Tour Conclusion: Drop-off at the Muslim Quarter

After visiting the awe-inspiring Terracotta Army, we will drive back to Xi'an city center. We will drop you off at the Muslim Quarter (Hui Min Jie). It is the paradise for food exploration in Xian where you can easily experience the vibrant local life and rich food culture of Xi'an. Here you can find almost every specialty food Xi'an is known for. Some of the must-tries include Rou Jia Mo, Yangrou Paomo, Liangpi, etc.

Besides the food scenery, the neighborhood itself is also a stunning cultural landmark. Buildings along the streets are modeled in the Ming and Qing Dynasty styles and skillfully blended with Muslim elements. This district is also home to several historic mosques, such as the famous Great Mosque which was listed as the state-level protected heritage for its traditional buildings and religious significance.

This area is also easily accessible to several iconic landmarks, like the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, and convenient for you to take metro (Metro Line 2) or buses.
