Guess you have seen some Buddhist temples before, if you want to catch Xi'an top attraction and research Chinese native religion, life & death philosophy. This 8-hour full day tour will be your perfect choice. All the entrance tickets to the sights, local lunch and private English speaking tour guide & transportation are all inclusive.
Explore the Terra-cotta Warriors Museum, one of the Eighth Wonders of the World with a professional guide and gain the relevant knowledge;
Visit Eight Immortals (Ba Xian An) Temple, the largest Taoist temple in Xi'an;
Stroll along the Funeral Market and learn about the life & death from Chinese Philosophy;
Climb to Ancient City Wall (optional visit, entrance ticket is on your own);
8:30am: You will be picked up at the centrally located hotel.
9:30am: Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors Museum, which is regarded as the Eighth Wonder of the World.
There are three pits in the museum.
No.1 Pit is the biggest one with 6,000-7,000 warriors in it.
No.2 Pit is the second biggest pit with over 1000 warriors in it.
No.3 Pit is the smallest pit with around 68 Warriors in it.
Your tour guide will accompany you to go through all the three pits with more detailed information. The tour will be extended to the Bronze Chariots Display Room where two sets of Bronze Chariots made 2,000 years ago is regarded as the largest bronze ware in the world.
12:30pm: Lunch is a nice local restaurant.
14:30pm: it takes around one hour drive to the largest Taoist temple in Xi'an, the Eight Immortals (Ba Xian An) Temple is 1000 years old and still an active place of worship. Walk around the incense burner, see through the smoke cloud to view age-old trees, beautiful flowers, colorful roof ceiling paintings, and sit along bench, listen to the Taoist chanting from Taoist monks' ceremony. Guide will share Taoist philosophy may help you know more about the influence of Chinese daily time.
Walk out of the temple, guide will show you some fortune tellers nearby with hair bun, stroll along Funeral Market, you will learn more about life & death from Chinese Philosophy.
Continue to explore the City Wall (optional visit , entrance ticket is on your own), one of the best preserved walls all around China with a history over 600 years, dividing the whole Xi'an city into two parts, including the inner city known as the old town and the outer city. This city wall goes all around with a perimeter about 13.7km (8.5 miles),the four major city gates, guard houses, battlements are still perfectly preserved, you may climb to the top of the wall to have a very relaxing walk to have a spectacular view of the old town inside the wall, or you can even do biking on the top of the wall, feeling the very tender wind blowing over your face to get a smooth touch of the history back to the Ming dynasty.
After the tour, you will be driven back to hotel.

The quoted price is for an 8-hour tour per day. If you use more than 6 hours or less than 8 hours per day it will still be considered a full day.
Additional hours are billed at 50CNY to 100CNY for the guide and 50CNY to 100CNY for the driver.
Pls note that the itinerary is flexible and we can adjust it according to your personal interests, the weather or any unexpected conditions.
For the lunch, we will take you to the authentic Chinese local restaurant catering for the locals. If you prefer to take a lunch in a fancy restaurant or order the dishes above our budget then you can just cover the cost difference above our budget.
We conduct only private tour but not group tour and won’t mix you with others.
Our tours are complete non-forced shopping tour and we won’t take you to any factories without request to waste your valuable time.
