Huangshan Two-Day Tour: Scenic Adventures & Qiyun Mountain Cultural Experience

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Pick-Up at Huangshan International Hotel

Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby at 8:30 AM, and after a quick introduction, you will be ready to embark on your journey. Be sure to arrive early for a timely departure.

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Travel to Huangshan Scenic Area Transfer Center

Hop on the bus for a scenic drive to the Huangshan Scenic Area Transfer Center. Here, you will board the shuttle bus to the Yungu cable station.

9:30 AM - 10:00 AM: Yungu Cable Car Ride

Arrive at the cable station and take the Yungu cable car (at your own expense, CNY 80 per person) up to the top of the mountain. Enjoy the sweeping views of the surrounding peaks as you ascend.

10:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Explore Huangshan Scenic Highlights

Visit some of the most iconic peaks of Huangshan, including White Goose Peak, Beginning-to-Believe Peak, and the Black Tiger Pine. Your guide will explain the legends and history of each spot as you explore the stunning natural landscapes.

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch on the Mountain

Break for lunch at one of the mountain restaurants (meal not included). Enjoy traditional Chinese dishes while soaking in the views of the surrounding peaks.

1:30 PM - 4:00 PM: More Scenic Spots

Continue your adventure by visiting Cloud-Dispelling Pavilion, Flying-Over Rock, Bright Summit, and the Xihai Grand Canyon. These awe-inspiring landmarks are perfect for photography and offer a deeper connection to the spiritual essence of the mountain.

4:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Check-In to Mountaintop Hotel

After a full day of exploring, check-in to one of the mountaintop hotels, such as Huangshan Shilin Hotel or Xihai Hotel. Enjoy some free time to relax, take in the serene views, and rest for the next day's adventure.

5:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Leisure Time at the Hotel

After check-in, you have some leisure time to enjoy the peaceful mountain environment. Dinner (at your own expense) can be enjoyed at the hotel's restaurant, where you can try local specialties.

Overnight: Stay at the mountain hotel of your choice.

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Hotel Check-Out & Travel to Qiyun Mountain

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and embark on a 1-hour drive to Qiyun Mountain, another UNESCO-listed site known for its deep Taoist heritage and cultural significance.

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Taoist Temples & Geomancy Insights at Qiyun Mountain

Explore the ancient Taoist temples scattered along the mountainside. Learn about the traditional Chinese geomancy (Feng Shui) and how it shapes the philosophy and architecture of the temples. The mountain is a spiritual retreat, offering a glimpse into the timeless Taoist practices that have been preserved for centuries.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch Break

Enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch in a nearby restaurant (meal not included). Take in the tranquility of your surroundings while reflecting on the cultural insights you've gained from the morning.

1:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Visit Taoist Temples & Learn About Taoist Culture

In the afternoon, you will continue to explore other key Taoist temples. Your guide will provide detailed explanations of the Taoist belief system, including its influence on Chinese philosophy, medicine, and culture. You will also have time to take photographs and absorb the peaceful atmosphere of the area.

2:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Continue Exploring Qiyun Mountain

Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring more hidden gems within Qiyun Mountain, like sacred rocks and natural springs that hold religious significance. The mountain offers a serene environment for meditation and reflection.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Return to Huangshan City

After a fulfilling day of cultural exploration, return to Huangshan City. You will be dropped off at your hotel or any other preferred location in the city.
