In the morning to visit one China Architecture Wonder - Hanging Temple which is located behind Hengshan Mountain. After the local lunch, explore Yingxian Wooden Tower that is the highest and oldest wooden tower building in China. The tour will finish at around 5:00pm, we will drop you off at your hotel in the end.

Hanging Temple - it is a 5th-century temple built into the side of a cliff, then move on to the Wooden Pagoda. Hanging Temple is not only the oldest and largest wooden Buddhist pagoda in existence in the world, but also as the only surviving temple combining all three Chinese traditional religions/philosophies: Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Seeing it from the distance, you could find it hanging in the mid air miraculously, hence the name "Hanging Temple”. You really need courage to climb some narrow wooden stairs！
Yingxian Wooden Tower - located from 85 kilometers south of Datong City in western Yingxian County. It is a masterpiece of carpentry and the oldest surviving wooden pagoda in the world without any Having been built without a single nail or rivet. The tower was originally built in 1056 by Emperor Daozong of the Liao Dynasty (907–1125), so far around 1000 year old history. If you are a "enthusiast of ancient architecture", Yingxian Wooden Tower is the place you must see.

The quoted price is for an 8-hour tour per day. If you use more than 6 hours or less than 8 hours per day it will still be considered a full day.
Additional hours are billed at 50CNY to 100CNY for the guide and 50CNY to 100CNY for the driver.
Please note that the itinerary is flexible and we can adjust it according to your personal interests, the weather or any unexpected conditions.
For the lunch, we will take you to the authentic Chinese local restaurant catering for the locals with great dishes. If you prefer to take a lunch in a fancy restaurant or order dishes more than our budget then you can just cover the cost difference above our budget.
We conduct only private tour but not group tour and won't mix you with others.
