This tour focuses on the history and traditional culture of Chongqing. It is an excellent choice for visitors who like history, ancient architecture and slow cultural travel. Pick up at your hotel, visit Ciqikou Ancient Town, Huguang Guild Hall, Three Gorges Museum and Longmenhao Old Street. Private guide, car, tickets and transfer all included. Lunch at your own expense.

Firstly, we will visit Ciqikou Ancient Town, a well-preserved ancient town with a history of more than 1000 years. Built beside the river, it has ancient stone streets, traditional wooden houses, old bridges and small temples. You can taste local handmade snacks, enjoy Sichuan tea art and watch folk arts such as sugar painting and paper cutting.
We then continue to Huguang Guild Hall, one of the largest and best-preserved ancient guild hall complexes in China. Built during the Qing Dynasty, it combines the architectural styles of Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi and other regions, with exquisite wood carvings, stone carvings and beautiful courtyards. It shows the migration history and business culture of ancient Chongqing.
Next, visit Chongqing Three Gorges Museum, a large comprehensive museum that shows the history of Bayu culture, Yangtze River Three Gorges, the Anti-Japanese War and modern Chongqing. There are abundant cultural relics, pictures and models to help you fully understand the history of this city.
Finally, we will stroll along Longmenhao Old Street. Located on the south bank of Yangtze River, it is a quiet old street with traditional Bayu stilt buildings. You can enjoy the peaceful river view and old street atmosphere here. After the tour, transfer you back to your hotel.

The quoted price is for an 8-hours tour per day. If you use more than 6 hours or less than 8 hours per day it will still be considered a full day.
Additional hours are billed at 50CNY to 100CNY for the guide and 50CNY to 100CNY for the driver.
Please note that the itinerary is flexible and we can adjust it according to your personal interests, the weather or any unexpected conditions.
For the lunch, we will take you to the authentic Chinese local restaurant catering for the locals with great dishes. If you prefer to take a lunch in a fancy restaurant or order dishes more than our budget then you can just cover the cost difference above our budget!
