8:30–9:00am Pick up at your downtown hotel.
Firstly, start your food journey with authentic Chongqing Xiaomian at a time-honored local noodle shop. Taste the chewy noodles mixed with spicy oil, Sichuan peppercorn, preserved vegetables and peanuts—the most representative breakfast of Chongqing locals.Next, walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and Bayi Food Street, the most popular food gathering area. Try various street snacks such as hot and sour sweet potato noodles, spicy tofu pudding, glutinous rice cakes, sugar-fried chestnuts and cold jelly noodles.
Then we will visit a local fresh market to see seasonal vegetables, bright red chilies, fresh Sichuan peppercorns and local ingredients, experiencing real daily life of Chongqing people.
At noon, enjoy authentic Chongqing Jianghu Cuisine at a popular local restaurant, such as spicy chicken, fish flavored pork slices, salt-fried meat, pork knuckle soup and braised pork ribs.
In the afternoon, visit Shancheng Trail and Baixiangju, enjoying the classic mountain-city scenery and old streets while tasting handmade pastries and sweet soups.
In the evening, enjoy the signature Chongqing Beef Tallow Hotpot, the soul of Chongqing food. Choose from spicy broth, taste tender beef, fresh duck intestines, crisp tripe and duck blood—the most unforgettable food experience in Chongqing.
After dinner, transfer you back to your hotel.

The quoted price is for an 8-hours tour per day. If you use more than 6 hours or less than 8 hours per day it will still be considered a full day.
Additional hours are billed at 50CNY to 100CNY for the guide and 50CNY to 100CNY for the driver.
Please note that the itinerary is flexible and we can adjust it according to your personal interests, the weather or any unexpected conditions.
For lunch, you will have free time to explore and choose a restaurant according to your own preference. This way you can enjoy local dishes or any style of dining you prefer, at your own expense.
