This half day city culture walk tour is a combination of the lifestyle between traditions and fashions about Chengdu. In Wenshu Monastery area, you will taste more than 5 local snacks, learn about the Buddhism religion, enjoy a cup of green tea like the locals in the courtyard. Walk along the footpath nearby the river to Taikooli, you will see the locals life through their residences, while in Chinese Liquor Museum, it is a good chance to learn about Chinese Liquor culture. Taikooli area is the place where you will touch the fashion of Chengdu.
Take an adventure of local snacks;
Visit Chinese Liquor Museum and have a better understanding of the relevant culture;
Join Chinese Tea Taster in the courtyard;

12:45-13:00pm: Meet at Exit K of Wenshuyuan Metro Station, line 1
You will be met by your guide at Exit k of Wenshuyuan Metro Station, line 1, holding your name sign.
13:00-15:00pm: A Walk to Chinese-style Street - Wenshu Community
The architecture around Wenshu Community is of an old Chinese style. The famous Wenshu Monastery is located here, where many intangible cultural heritage handicrafts and antique shops in Chengdu are housed. Chengdu's well loved foods and snacks can also be found here.
Local snacks will be arranged for the lunch while walking around this area, and an afternoon tea break will also will be arranged in the courtyard.
16:00-17:00pm: Baijiu Taste in Chinese Liquor Museum
We will spend one hour in Chinese Liquor Museum, where we will not only learn about Chinese Liquor' culture and history, but also taste 2 kinds of Chinese Liquor.
17:00-19:00pm: Evening Food Adventure in Coolest Street - Tangba Street
Tangba Street is next to Tai Koo Li and Kangshi Street. In September 2018, Time Out listed Tangba Street 19th of the "coolest 50 city blocks in the world". Straddling old neighborhoods and new development, Tangba Jie and its surrounding side-streets are a perfect representation of Chengdu's modern/traditional juxtaposition and the food-focused culture of leisure that has recently propelled the city into the spotlight. An evening food experience will be arranged here after our Chinese Liquor Culture experience. After that we will walk around Taikoo Li area and end our tour here.

It is a soft walk in downtown Chengdu, a pair of comfortable walking shoes is necessary.
Vegetarian food is possible, if you have any food allergy, please tell us ahead of time before booking this tour.
