Spend whole morning visiting Dujiangyan Panda Base and see the adorable pandas, and go to Dujiangyan Irrigation Project to discover the secret of “Land of Abundances” of Chengdu. Dujiangyan Irrigation System is honored as the 'Treasure of Sichuan', which still plays a crucial role in draining off floodwater, irrigating farms and providing water resources for more than 50 cities in the province. In China, Chengdu is always praised as the Tian Fu Zhi Guo, which means 'Nature's Storehouse'.

Early in the morning, our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00am. You will drive about 1.5 hours to Dujiangyan Panda Base, which is the largest panda base in Chengdu, surrounded by a beautiful natural environment. You will be guided through visiting the different enclosures of Dujiangyan Panda Base, where you may not only see adult pandas, but also newly born baby pandas if luck enough. We spend whole morning walking around this area to see different pandas playing in the enclosures or on the trees.
After our tour in the Panda Base, we will drive about 30 minutes to Dujiangyan City.
Later, enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant and continue to visit the Dujiangyan Irrigation System honored as the 'Treasure of Sichuan'. It is the oldest and only surviving no-dam water conservancy project in the world, and it has been functioning for more than two thousand years. Explore this magnificent irrigation system with your guide to learn the history and its crucial role.
Afterwards, drive back to downtown around 18:00pm to conclude the full day sightseeing.
